Ornamental Trees

Ornamental trees can add interest to your landscape with color and shape. They are perfect in smaller areas where larger trees would out grow the spot. Many are true trees (just small) and many are grafted shrubs on a stick. The correct term is ‘tree form’ or ‘standard’ but on a stick says it all. Plants such Tree Form lilacs, hydrangeas and roses are just some varieties that will give a small tree look and will not overwhelm a smaller area. Japanese Maple add interest with their shapes and color. Birches with their tall clump form lends itself to island beds or the corner of the home.
